An orchestral tribute to one of The Grateful Dead's founding members
Founding member of The Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia passed away in 1995. His music lives on with this Symphonic Celebration, a touring project which utilises the great local orchestras of whichever city it travels to next. The one constant on this tour will be ex-Allman Brothers guitarist Warren Hayes, who will be trying to channel some of Garcia's masterful axe-grinding. This interpretation of Garcia's music acts as both a tribute to and a continuation of Jerry Garcia's musical legacy.
