Two 80s icons together!
Still riding on the success of composing Broadway hit musical Kinky Boots, Cyndi Lauper continues to tour across the country. Her newest tour comes in support of the 80s icon's brand new album, Detour, where she'll be diving headlong into country music. And now pop fans have two reasons to rejoice! For six special nights, she'll be joined by Boy George!
At 60 years young, Lauper has sold over 50 million records, and garnered 14 Grammy nominations over a career spanning over three decades! That's an average of one and a half million record sales annually. And as if that's not enough, she can now add Broadway composer, Tony AND Olivier Winner to her many plaudits.
Riotously androgynous Boy George conquered America in the early 80s with his band Culture Club and their catchy, soul-soaked, calypso-inspired records, including 'Do You Really Want To Hurt Me' and the Latin-flavoured 'I'll Tumble 4 Ya.'
